CELEBRATING RURAL EXCELLENCE

“Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well,” said John W Gardner.

Wagin Woolorama’s theme for 2018 is “Celebrating Rural Excellence” so we’d like to hear your stories of excellence in any rural setting.  And we’ll try to tell them in our Official Program for the Show.

They could be stories of consistently high performance, innovative application, personal triumph, training delivery, best yields, records broken, team performance, focused effort, thoughtful planning, good habits entrenched, dreams realised.

In 200 words or less, submit your stories to Woolorama’s media office for consideration. We’d like to recognise the ordinary things done extraordinarily well in your home, farm, rural business or local community.

They could be stories of making a difference in people’s lives, conquering bad habits, overcoming obstacles, fortitude, potential realised, breaking new ground, changing opinion.

The setting could be agriculture, health, invention, machinery, domestic, education, service delivery, business, the arts, or anything that happens in a rural community.

Mario Andretti said, “Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal – a commitment to excellence – that will enable you to attain the success you seek.”

Tell us what has inspired you in others (individuals, groups or organisations) because we’d like to share the good news of rural excellence, humble or grand, with our show patrons.
